COVID-19

Hello AYSO Region 68 Parents and Players,

We hope you and your families are staying healthy during the COVID-19

crisis. We understand that with all the uncertainty during this unique time, it can be hard to look beyond the current situation. We at AYSO Region 68 are committed to the players returning to the soccer field when time is right.

AYSO Region 68 is delighted to announce that registration for the Fall 2020 soccer season is now open and running thru June 5th. We know that it may be earlier than usual for some of you, but we believe by doing this, it will help your families know that there is a plan moving forward.

Regarding the schedule, the first game in Week 1 is reserved for Saturday August 22nd with the last game in Week 10 being reserved for Saturday October 31st. This schedule is what we know now but could subjected to change due to the dynamic environment we now find ourselves in.

The cost for the Fall 2020 season is $140 per player plus processing fees with a $10 discount for each sibling up to 4 players. We are also offering a discount of $20 for our active military personnel. Please keep in mind, divisions do have a limited number of available spots, therefore
it is strongly recommended that you register early. Please inquire about payment plans.

Please log into your account at http://www.camarilloaysosoccer.org and register your player.

We strongly suspect that you are keen on volunteering...therefore, the volunteer registration is also available during player registration. We are continuing our $10 discount for volunteering as a Head Coach. Keep in mind, AYSO is an organization that solely runs on volunteering, and we
absolutely need your support for this upcoming season.

To preserve our beautiful Pleasant Valley Fields (PVF), we encourage you to consider turf shoes when replacing soccer footwear for players, coaches, and referees.  For the hybrid turf at PVF, turf shoes provide better traction and are generally more comfortable – in addition to being easier on the turf.

What type of programs are offered by Camarillo AYSO? We offer a variety of programs depending on the player’s age.

Schoolyard:  For children who are born in 2015.  Each group is made up of three players and each player will have a parent with them on the field. The children learn soccer skills like kicking, dribbling, and throwing in the ball, but in a low-pressure setting. There are not set teams and the activities are only on Saturday.

6U-8U Non-Competitive: For players who are born between 2013 and 2015 (see Membership Year 2020 Year Registration Guidelines above to determine which division).  This program is a team of 6 to 8 same gender players on a team with 4 to 6 players playing on the field at a time, depending on the division. This program will have a practice during the week and games on Saturdays. These players will play 10 games one game per Saturday.

10U-16/19U Competitive: For players who are born between 2002 and 2012 (see Membership Year 2020 Registration Guidelines above to determine which division).  This program is a team of 9 to 18 same gender players on a team with 7 to 11 players playing on the field at a time depending on the division. This program will have two practices during the week and games on Saturdays. These players will play 10 games, one game per Saturday and possibly move on to Championship Day if they performed well and completed all their parent participation points.

VIP: For players whose physical or mental special needs make it difficult for them to successfully participate on mainstream soccer teams.
