2022 Camarillo Cup

Winners are Posted Below!

2022 Camarillo Cup

On behalf of the Camarillo Cup 2022 tournament staff and all of AYSO Region 68, I’d like to say thank you for attending.

Thank you also for your great cooperation in what was a very difficult but correct decision to cancel the remaining games of the tournament to keep our kids and families safe in what turned out to be a very dangerous weather event.

Final standings and bracket winners are being calculated based on our rules and should be posted soon. We’ll contact winners individually to distribute awards.

Of course, some of you may be wondering about refunds. Since the tournament was cancelled due to weather after partially completing and could not be rescheduled to be completed, refunds will be made to teams on a prorated basis, based on the number of actual games played.

We don’t know the precise timeline for refunds. Please be aware that we will need to evaluate refunds on a team by team basis and our goal would be to issue any applicable refunds by the end of September.

Please forward this to your teams as the contact info we have in our system is limited.

We hope you are all staying safe in what has turned out to be a continuing excessive heat event in California. We thank you again for your participation at Camarillo Cup 2022 and we hope to see you again next year.

For the Beautiful Game,
Bob Dawson
Director, Camarillo Cup 2022

UPDATE, 9/4/22, 1:20 pm
The weather forecast has turned even uglier and, regrettably, the remaining games at Camarillo Cup 2022 are canceled.

We are aware of the refund policy in our rules and will be calculating and issuing refunds accordingly.

If you are in a five-team bracket, we’ll be awarding trophies and medals based on the games played. If you are in a 4, 6 or 8 team bracket, we will not be able to calculate winners.

On behalf of the Camarillo Cup 2022 staff I thank you for attending our tournament and look forward to a better experience next year.

For the Beautiful Game,
Bob Dawson
Director, Camarillo Cup 2022

Hi, Coaches,
It’s almost time for Camarillo Cup 2022!

·       Schedules are posted at:

o   https://public.totalglobalsports.com/public/event/2599/schedules-standings

o   Once they are posted, they are subject to change so please check daily through Friday.
·       Rules are posted at:
o   https://public.totalglobalsports.com/public/event/2599/event-rules

 ·       If you haven’t already, please check that your roster is current in the TGS system.
o   We’d prefer not to be hand-writing rosters at check-in. Here’s a couple of how-to links in case you’re not familiar with TGS rosters.
§  How To Add A Player
     https://totalglobalsports.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044067052-How-To-Add-A-Player
§  How To Roster Your Players To An Event Roster
·       https://totalglobalsports.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044004352-How-To-Roster-Your-Players-To-An-Event-Roster

§  We will be printing rosters Friday so please have your rosters updated no later than Thursday evening.

 ·       ID Cards and forms
·       We’re not worrying too much about player ID cards because it’s pre-season and some teams won’t have them. We won’t be holding cards during games.
·       If you do have current ID cards, you are golden. Present those at check-in.

o   If you do not have current ID cards, though, WE ARE ADAMANT ABOUT CURRENT PLAYER REGISTRATION/MEDICAL RELEASE FORMS AT CHECK-IN

  • There are a couple of big reasons for this: 1) Insurance – if you don’t have those current ID cards or registration forms, we don’t know if the players are insured and we are NOT going to assume that liability. 2) In the highly unlikely event of serious injury or player collapse, we MUST know we will not waste precious seconds if first responders need to transport.

·       PLEASE NOTE CHECK-IN FOR CAMARILLO CUP IS COACH/MANAGER ONLY AND WILL BE MID-PARK AT THE SHED NEAR THE SNACK BAR.

o   Early check-in is available Friday, 6-8 PM at the shed (middle of the park) at Pleasant Valley Fields, 150 Westpark Court, Camarillo,  93012

o   If you are ready earlier than 60 minutes before your first game, please feel free to check in.

·       The venue is Pleasant Valley Fields, 152 Westpark Court, Camarillo,  93012

·       Field maps are posted at camarillocup.com

·        PARKING WILL BE $7 PER CAR PER DAY. A PASS WILL BE ISSUED SO YOU MAY EXIT AND RE-ENTER.

·       Some things you may need to know at game time:

o   Home team picks side.
o   Game duration for all games shall be as follows:

o   2014 & 2013:         25 minute half
